The Soul Charmer

The Soul Charmer

About the Book: Remember the first time you uttered those three important words expressing your love or the first time when you said ‘goodbye’ to your loved one. The first time, you got a jolt in your heart or the first time you held a life in your arms.

Richa Saxena has tried to put forth a compilation of thirty-five surreal poems that would recreate that magic and unleash your deepest thoughts. Seasons must have passed by, but that feeling still remains in the heart. Her poems would revive those very thoughts, the ones said and the ones that remained unsaid. Source

Book Review: The Soul Charmer is an exquisite collection of 35 Poems that resonates with varied  emotions  like  desires, unfulfilled dreams, Identity, Passion, Solitude and Hope. Richa’s effort of evoking “love yourself” emotion hits hard and makes you think for a while.

“Love Me Tonight” is my personal favorite poem from the Book. The poem creates an utopian dream and makes you crave for the intimacy with the special someone. Love Me Tonight is all about laughter, cuddles, Fantasy and Dreams.

The Soul Charmer is for old, young and everyone facing mid-life crisis; the young can unravel the varied emotions they feel while the oldies can re-live the good old days. Richa’s exemplary use of serene language makes it easier for everyone to “Go where the Poetess wants to take them”.

Well, Richa is not only good at writing but equally brilliant at narrating. Here’s a video, where Richa recites the poem “She is the Girl” from The Soul Charmer.
